Elly Atuhumuza

Elly Atuhumuza is a behavioral health researcher with over 15 years of experience designing and implementing facility- and field-based research. Before joining StrongMinds, he held research leadership roles at Innovations for Poverty Action, the Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration, the MGH-MUST Research Collaboration, and the Medical Research Council. Elly holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of London and is completing a PhD in Public Health at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. His work covers the fields of mental health, HIV, tuberculosis, and reproductive and maternal health. He is passionate about driving policy change in mental health by generating and publishing evidence.
