Jennifer Bass is passionate about the intersection of mental health and sustainable development. Before joining StrongMinds, she led the North American communications team for the Rainforest Alliance and served as the communications manager at Worldwide Orphans. She holds a BA in Anthropology from Tufts University and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Yale University, where she focused on agriculture in Africa. She is the author of Edible Colors and Edible Numbers, published by Roaring Brook Press/MacMillan, and has authored several other children’s books for the education trade. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and gardening.
