This is a perfect opportunity for an early-career professional to grow alongside the new program branch of an established mental health organization or a seasoned mental health professional looking for a flexible work schedule.
This is a per diem position that will facilitate in-person and remote IPT group therapy sessions for teenage and young adults in New York Metro area and Northern NJ. All hires will be fully trained in the IPT-G model at no cost.
- Valid LCSW, LMHC, LSW, LPC or soon to be licensed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for assessment, planning, organizing, and delivery of depression treatment in coordination with allied organizations.
- Responsible for facilitating group therapy sessions using the IPT-G model, including prescreening, intake, and post-therapy assessment.
- Participate in regular supervision and staff meetings.
- Provide basic mental health education and outreach through attendance at local community-based events.
- Serve as liaison to community-based organizations and agencies as appropriate.
- Maintain licensure as required by licensing board and attend educational trainings/seminars to remain up to date on current best practices.
- Maintain positive working relationships within the communities served, including individuals,families, staff, monitoring and licensing agencies, organizations and funding resources.
- Maintain accurate, professionally written clinical documentation (progress notes, assessments) in accordance with professional standards, policies, and as directed by supervisor.
- Demonstrate and apply knowledge of comprehensive, community based, client centered, culturally sensitive care coordination services.
- Assist individuals and families in meeting other psychosocial needs by referring them to appropriate outside agencies and providing information needed within the guidelines of confidentiality standards.
