Michele B. Morgan is thrilled that her work with StrongMinds affords her the opportunity to combine her love of the African continent with her love of professional fundraising. Bringing more than twenty years of international development and fundraising experience, Michele focuses on fostering a culture of philanthropy by designing and implementing sustainable donor relationship strategies.
Michele established the first fundraising program with Habitat for Humanity International in Ghana, West Africa where she consistently surpassed revenue goals and created a culturally specific fundraising infrastructure. Michele’s broad experience includes grassroots work with the U.S. Peace Corps in both Liberia and Togo, West Africa, as well as with US-based organizations such as The Ellington Fund, Conservation International, and National CASA.
Michele holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership, and Certification in Fund Raising Management from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Living in beautiful Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, Michele thrives on vegan cooking, hot yoga, meditation, and traveling across this magnificent planet.
