Chilufya joined StrongMinds Zambia in 2019 as a Mental Health Facilitator and has grown to the position of Peer Therapy Program Lead, a dynamic position which entails supporting our volunteer Peer Facilitators to run effective therapy using Interpersonal Group Therapy techniques. She also runs therapy groups and supports Mental Health Facilitators.

A qualified social worker with a diploma in sociology and certificates in social work and effective child welfare systems, Chilufya has over ten years of experience in community work particularly HIV and AIDS, reproductive health, and youth work.

Chilufya delights in seeing positive change in every client she comes across, and has a passion for improving the lives of the marginalized in society.
