Position: Adolescent Project Manager
Reports to: Program Manager
Duty Station: Kampala
StrongMinds Uganda (which currently operates in 4 districts of Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono and Iganga) seeks to fill the vacant position of Adolescent Project Manager. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Uganda nationals. This is a one-year contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding.

The APM works independently and collaboratively with the StrongMinds Uganda (SMU) Program Manager, the SMU Executive Director, and the StrongMinds Program Director, as well as other staff, donors, partners, and consultants to successfully plan, manage, and implement project activities, while also supporting partnership engagement and growth of the adolescent project portfolio within and beyond Uganda. The APM will be expected to demonstrate experience and expertise in the following areas: supporting and empowering adolescent and vulnerable populations; managing and supervising the planning and implementation of high quality, innovative, and to-budget programs — utilizing creative and flexible problem-solving to address challenges as they arise; leading reporting, documentation, and dissemination of learnings and best practices to a range of stakeholders; coordination across offices and locations; and finally advocacy and strategic planning to support longer-term project scaling and public sector engagement.
